Ghost Seachers Ireland Ghost Hunt Weekend & Ball
27th & 28th April 2012

The weekend will be Hosted by Barry Fitzgerald head investigator of the famous American Paranormal show Ghost Hunters International GHI.

Friday night..
This year is the centenary of the death of Bram Stoker who wrote Dracula so in his honour there will be a Vampire Ball. So join in the fun and there will be a bottle of Champaigne for the best costume.

Saturday night

After dinner everyone will be allocated into teams and the Ghost Hunt will begin. We have four locations around the castle which we have chosen for you to investigate. Anyone who feels they would rather sit out can watch the investigations on a large screen and Barry will be there to describe all the spooky things as they are happening.

If you are interested in the Paranormal this is the week-end for you.

Price for the weekend is €225 per person sharing

For anyone not staying in the castle and live locally the charge for each evening’s event is -

The Arigna Mining Experience

Take a tour down a real coal mine with a former miner. The Arigna Mining Experience provides visitors with a unique insight into what coal mining life was like in the Arigna Valley, since its beginning in the 1700′s until closure in 1990.

The Model
The Model, home of The Niland Collection, is one of Ireland’s leading contemporary arts centres.

Carrowmore Megalithic Cemetary
This is the largest cemetery of megalithic tombs in Ireland and is also among the country’s oldest, with monuments ranging from five and a half thousand to six and a half thousand years old.

Lough Gill and the Lake Isle of Innisfree
Take the Rose of Innisfree boat trip around Lough Gill and take in some spectacular scenery and history. The boat departs from Parkes Castle, a restored 17th century plantation castle which you can tour.
